A forty-plus economist computer-scientist who also has a degree in Computer ScienceEconomics. If I weren’t the non-obsessive type, I’d be a geek. As it is, I potter around the the edges of geekdom, admire the usual Open Source suspects, handcode my HTML at home, but not much at work. My dayjob before the kreppa was in Derivatives Trading, but losing my job pushed me to doing what I’d been thinking about for a couple of years, switching fully towards programming, having done quite a bit of it as a sideline in the bank. Silver linings and all that.
